You know that it’s really summer when the scent of wild honeysuckle is on the breeze, lemonade stands start popping up throughout the neighborhood and all the flowers of summer flaunt their fabulous blooms—becoming even more aromatic in the heat.
When choosing a summer fragrance, I usually go for something fresh and clean and a little floral—with maybe some citrus thrown in. It’s the kind of scent I can wear from work, to an outdoor market, to a concert by the lake shore. Nighttime fragrances can get a little more romantic, like a flower that only blooms by moonlight.
Whatever you prefer, have a little fun with fragrance this summer! Scents can help us recall good memories-and wearing a familiar fragrance is like going back in time for just an instant. Carefree, breezy, bold and sassy-whatever you prefer, enjoy your own scents of summer…
